Champions Trophy Vallamkali (Dragon Boat Race) is an attempt to replicate the traditional snake boat races in Kerala, and is an event that caters to Asian Indian population all over Florida and other part of the United States.
The event’s main goal is to promote unity and cultural interaction within the community while keeping alive the tradition of Snake Boat races in the southern Indian state of Kerala. In addition, it hopes to spread cultural awareness in the local community and expects people of Indian origin from all over the United States to participate in the future

A team must consist of minimum 16 paddlers. Each team member must be at least 14 years of age. Competitions are conducted separately for men and women. Get a group of people of Asian Indian heritage together to form your team and get ready for this fun filled event. You don’t need to be experienced to participate in this event.
